During our conversation, David shared valuable insights on how, for over three decades, he and his world-class team have devoted themselves to helping thousands of clients turn their Canadian dreams into reality, making the immigration journey as seamless as possible through passion, expertise, and unwavering commitment.

Rosenblatt Immigration Law: A Trusted Guide to Immigration Success
For over three decades, Rosenblatt Immigration Law has been a trusted name in Canadian immigration, helping countless individuals and businesses establish themselves in the country. At the heart of the firm’s success is David Rosenblatt, Founder and CEO, whose expertise in corporate immigration services has made him a leading authority in the field. “Our firm is a Canadian immigration firm. We were established in 1991, and our specialty is corporate immigration services,” says David Rosenblatt. “One of the unique things that we do is focus on helping investors and entrepreneurs come to Canada and establish companies. And they essentially can sponsor themselves once their business is operational.”

Rosenblatt Immigration Law has refined its process to simplify and streamline immigration for business professionals. The firm’s ‘Work Permit to Permanent Residence Program’ (WP2PR) has become a cornerstone for entrepreneurs looking to establish themselves in Canada while ensuring long-term residency.

Pioneering Immigration Solutions to Empower Entrepreneurs
Immigrating isn’t just about securing a visa, it’s about building a future. Whether an entrepreneur, investor, or professional, navigating Canada’s immigration system requires a clear strategy that aligns business goals with legal requirements. “Different types of work permits are often available to our clients, and we have to figure out which is the best one. It’s gotten a little more complicated,” says David Rosenblatt. “Most people want a work permit before they start investing their money and want to be able to work at their business.”

Rosenblatt Immigration Law takes a hands-on approach, guiding clients through business selection, financial planning, and operational setup. From crafting strategic business plans to developing financial projections, human resource strategies, and understanding necessary regulations and approvals, the firm ensures every step is seamless. “We have to help clients find a suitable and appropriate business that’s right for them,” David explains. “We put together financial projections, a human resource plan—how many people they’re going to hire, when they’re going to hire them. Hiring has gotten very expensive in North America, and clients need to be aware of the wage differences.”

But immigration is just the beginning. The firm remains a trusted partner, helping businesses establish, operate, and grow. Their expertise extends beyond paperwork, helping clients understand how to develop a competitive advantage for their businesses to ensure long-term success. “The first step is just getting here to Canada, there’s a whole number of other issues. Having a lawyer guide them through business establishment and operations is really important because so many legal issues come into play,” David shares.

Rosenblatt Immigration Law’s Pathway to Success in Canada
For many people, moving to Canada isn’t just about finding a new place to live—it’s about building a future. At Rosenblatt Immigration Law Professional Corp, David Rosenblatt and his team help entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals simplify the complex immigration process, ensuring they don’t just arrive in Canada but thrive here. “A lot of times, when you do business in Canada, you gain access to the entire North American market,” David explains. “But people need to understand the real costs involved—starting or buying a business, personal living expenses, and running the business until it becomes profitable. Many assume they’ll start making money right away, but that’s not always the case.”

With decades of experience, Rosenblatt Immigration Law offers strategic guidance. Whether it’s choosing the right business, conducting due diligence, or exploring financing options like vendor take-back financing, where sellers finance part of the purchase price, the firm helps clients make informed decisions. “We work with people in their 40s and 50s—many of whom were executives, professionals, or business leaders—who now want to become entrepreneurs. They may not have owned a business before, but with the right guidance, they can successfully start or acquire one.” But immigration isn’t just about business. For most clients, the ultimate goal is permanent residence and a secure future for their families. “Our job isn’t just to get someone a work permit—it’s about helping them and their families settle permanently. We guide them through every step, whether it’s permanent residence applications, family sponsorships, or tax planning. Some want to bring their parents, some have children who are no longer dependents, every case is different,” says David.

David also keeps a close eye on global immigration trends, noting that the U.S. is introducing a $5 million investor visa program, often referred to as the Golden Visa. This just shows how truly valuable it is to have permanent status in North America.“In Canada, there’s no fixed minimum investment, but you do need enough funds to start and sustain your business,” he says. “We help clients find opportunities that match their financial situation and bring real value to Canada. We just had a client approved in a unique way through his spouse,” David shares. “That’s why we take a personalized approach, because immigration isn’t just about moving to Canada, it’s about building a new life here.”

Shaping Canada’s Future with Bold Business Immigration
For David Rosenblatt, immigration isn’t just about visas and paperwork, it’s about building futures. As the senior managing lawyer of Rosenblatt Immigration Law, he has spent years helping entrepreneurs and business owners navigate the complexities of Canada’s immigration system. But his firm is more than just a law office; it’s a trusted partner, offering legal expertise, financial advisory, and business consulting to ensure long-term success. “A lot of times, people come to Canada with one plan in mind. But once they arrive and start researching, they want to change direction. They might find a new opportunity or a business they want to buy. That’s why it’s so important to build a strong relationship with our clients,” he explains.

At Rosenblatt Immigration Law, the goal isn’t just securing approvals, it’s helping clients thrive. “We work with our clients over time, not just as immigration lawyers, but as financial advisers, management consultants, and corporate counsel.” Yet, the landscape of business immigration is ever-changing. “The only constant in immigration is change,” he notes. “And it’s been changing fast and furiously over the last couple of years and we expect that to continue into the future.” While Canada has made strides in immigration, David sees a glaring gap in business immigration policies. “In the U.S., the EB-5 investor program has driven foreign investment and economic growth. But in Canada, we don’t have anything like that. We’ve made recommendations for a Canadian investor program, but so far, nothing has happened.”

He is also critical of the inefficiencies in Canada’s Startup Visa Program. “It’s turned into a real racket. Many people get approved without actually starting a business. Because of long processing times, the program hasn’t achieved its original goal, and I anticipate it will be shut down.” Despite these challenges, David remains passionate about his work. His firm’s WP2PR program has helped many businesses take root in Canada. “We have so many success stories with entrepreneurs who came here, started cash-flowing businesses, and are now thriving. That’s the Canadian dream,” he says. For David, business immigration is about shaping the country’s future. “Canada needs more successful entrepreneurs. These are some of the best immigrants—highly educated, English-speaking, financially secure, and eager to invest and create jobs.”

David is determined to bring real entrepreneurs to Canada—people who will invest, create jobs, and contribute to the economy. “That’s our job as lawyers, to provide the best guidance and protect people who truly want to build something here in Canada. I wanted to do something positive for Canada and for people. I wanted to make a real difference. And I love what I do because of that,” concludes David Rosenblatt.

Through Rosenblatt Immigration Law, David continues to advocate for smarter policies that benefit both Canada’s economy and the entrepreneurs who dream of calling it home.
